If you are in Moscow for quite some time It is recommended to take the metro to either the Universitet stop or the Vorobyevy Gory stop. The Vorobyevy Gory stop would be less walking in order to get out in front of the university and to the great park in front. Make sure to go the right way out of University metro stop if you do take that way. Once there, you will see locals and students out on the grounds and it is a great place for a quick rest and a snack while enjoying the beauty of this massive building.
