York University

York University is a public research university in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is 3rd biggest university in Canada. Has over 55,000 students, eleven faculties and 28 research centres.
This University partakes in the Canadian Space Program and the only Space engineering program in Canada. The Faculty of Science and Lassonde School of Engineering are Canada's primary research facilities focusing on Martian exploration, and have created several space research instruments used by NASA. York has spearheaded a few PhD programs in Canada, and its psychology program is the largest in North America.

It's a lovely university with lovely people and it's also campus so there is a sense of community, but unfortunately it's not too far from the city which is a treasure because of its historical buildings, and the fact that everything is available there, the tea rooms and cafes, the pubs and bars.
Also, the facilities are not that good, housing at this university is hard to get in to if you are not a first year student, but once you get in and get to know the people its all good.

Quite a few professors also show zero passion for teaching. They will present 3 hour lectures with no more than a typewritten paragraph of text on the overhead projector. They will leave in the middle of student presentations, and have TA's mark instead.

Pros
Good economic education programs, friendly students, collaboration with NASA.

Cons
Boring lectures, lack of security, poor teaching quality, situated on the edge of Toronto, some professors cant speak english.

Overall rating 6.5/10

As one of the first state funded college, the University of Alabama has left an immense social engraving on the state, district and overall whole country in the course of recent hundreds of years.

The University of Alabama is a wonderful place. You will love living on campus and being apart of everything going on.
Living on campus is incredibly expensive, but the suite-style rooms are very nice and the security is wonderful. The best dorms to live in are the Ridgecrest ones or the Presidential ones, and the ones to avoid are Somerville, Tutwiler, and Paty.

Athletics at Alabama are amazing. If you love sports, you will have great time because there's always something going on! Football at Alabama is the best in the county, and in the spring there's gymnastics which is really fun, too! If you like being active, the rec centers are awesome and there are tons of club sports!

Pros
Biggest football school in the country, there are so many good restaurants in Tuscaloosa, professors are always ready to help, the university really cares about its students and it is apparent.

Cons
Living on campus is incredibly expensive,
