Sapienza University of Rome

The Sapienza University of Rome, formally Sapienza – Università di Roma is the biggest European college by enlistments (the third if considering the learning schools in different areas/places) and one of the most seasoned university in the history, established in 1303.

Sapienza University of Rome is a standout amongst the most trustworthy European Universities and the most prestigious Italian University.
According to the Academic Ranking of World Universities (Arwu), Sapienza is routinely positioned first among Southern European colleges. It is also considered as one of the top ten best Universities in Europe, and first in Southern Europe.

La Sapienza taught various notable personalities, including numerous Nobel laureates, presidents of the European Parliament, leaders of a few countries and important researchers and even astronauts.

Living in Rome is very expensive and it is hard to find a nice room/appartment for less then 500 EUR. Food in the other hand, is quite affordable. However, Rome is such an beautiful and great city to live in, and studying there is really good opportunity to be a part of this society and fully enjoy the beauty of Rome.

In this uni, students are always helpful and friendly. You can meet alot of new friends and you will become more open minded, interested in the world, and it will give you courage and self confidence.
However, the education in this university is a big chaos and teachers don't really care if you go to classes or not, you have to do almost everything yourself. Introduct yourself, discuss about the exams proceedings etc. which is a big let down.

Pros

The best university in Italy, it offers some of the best graduate degrees for job, helpful and friendly students.

Cons
Very expensive living costs - especially the cost of appartments or rooms, you are on your own when it comes to education and learning, dont expect much help from professors.

It utilizes a semester based academic calendar. Arizona State University currently ranks in the best colleges as a 129th. Its in state tuition and fees are $9,514; out-of-state tuition and fees are $24,220.

Collectively, the campuses in Tempe and three other locations in the Phoenix area offer students over 300 undergraduate academic programs to pick from and over 500 clubs and organizations to check out.

If you live in state, there are so many opportunities for scholarships, it's basically a free ride if you can get into one of them. After that, it's like any other university - have to shift through the good and bad professors through word of mouth. Education degrees are however worth more then they should.
ASU is kind of known as the party school, but the business school is pretty strong here. Given the price you're paying as a resident, ASU is not a bad choice for furthering your education.

Pros

Cool looking inside and outside, alot of parties and social live.

Cons
Very high costs, they can sue you to pay even more for no reason, low quality education, cost of housing is extremely high, professors are very unlikeable.

Milan is a great city, with great people and a lot of things to do. Howeverm Milan is one of the most expensive european cities. The student residence and services are good. The public transports are a great option to travel around the city because of its low prices.

Good advice for future students is to take this university seriously from the very beginning because this is the best way to succeed in a difficult field such as physics and in a challenging (and tough) environment such as that of University of Milan.

Pros
One of the best universities in italy, good worldwide recognitions, it is the only italian university that belongs to LERU group.

Cons
Very expensive city, challenging and difficult exams, you need to learn some basics of italian language.

There is over 13 thousands Polish and global understudies every year that take after degree programs at the Bachelor, Master, Doctoral and Post-diploma levels at four different facilities: Economics, Finance and Insurance, Informatics and Communication & Management.

Students and graduates develop in a flourishing city participate in the advancement of the region throughout their professional lives like sorting out economics life, joining in an extensive variety of business activities ect.

The educational offer and deep rooted learning projects draw in students from everywhere throughout the world. Because of the harmony between scholarly quality and soft skills in these courses as well as professional career services. The employability of graduates is rather high.

The University of Economics in Katowice is a fantastically organized school of economics, and the Erasmus program is highly developed with lots of international students. They have a large number of events for international students and pay attention to the finer details of integrating international students into everyday local life. I was pleasantly surprised while studying there.

Pros
Its very easy to pass exams as most teachers just give the same set of tests over and over in each of your resits, good quality erasmus programs and other events.

Cons
Very low teaching level, you can do nothing whole semester not even participate in lectures (which are very boring) and still pass with A mark.

University of Amsterdam

The University of Amsterdam
is a state funded college situated in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Founded in 1632 by municipal authorities and later renamed for the city of Amsterdam, the University of Amsterdam is one of the most seasoned college in the Netherlands and one of the biggest examination colleges in Europe with over 30 thousands students. It is also the largest university in the Netherlands. The main campus is situated in the middle of Amsterdam, with a couple of buildings situated in nearby boroughs. The college is sorted out into seven resources: Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Dentistry, Economics and Business, Law, Medicine, and Science.

The housing at the UvA is in particular arranged for Master students. Most of them get a quite nice (and expensive) room. But there also are less nice and equally expensive accomodations, but in the end, the quality of the housing depends on the people you live with.
There is a lot of activities to do: parties for international students in the university, parties in private house, cruises on the canals, museums discounts, nice famous brown cafès and much more. The people there are fantastic - friendly and open minded.

Pros
Relaxed work atmosphere, lots of benefits (considered an civil servant position), possible to work with lots of different people, opportunities to grow within the University if not possible in your department.

Cons
Every change takes a lot of time, bureaucracy, when standards are implemented, the out-of-the-box people/dept/scenarios not usually considered.

The University of Edinburgh

The University of Edinburgh established in 1582, is the 6th most seasoned college in United Kingdom and one of Scotland's oldest colleges. The university is profoundly implanted in the fabric of the city, with a hefty portion of the structures in the memorable Old Town belonging to the university.
The college played a critical part in driving Edinburgh to its reputation as a chef intelectual centre at the Age of Enlightenment, and helped give the city the name of the Athens of the North.

Edinburgh gets more or less 47k applications consistently, making it the third most well known college in the UK by volume of applicants. However Edinburgh University remains to be one of the hardest universities to get into in the country and as such will always be respected by employers as long as this fact remains true. The university has a wide range of courses from medicine, veterinary science, engineering to all the traditional arts degrees.

A key issue of complaint about the university is that there seems to be a lack of support from university staff. This can be a good thing, as it means you need to get some initiative and work things out for yourself, but it can be detrimental if you feel a bit clueless. What's really important is that the university gives you a well rounded education.
The university has many great facilities, but what makes it such a great university is the city and the many thousands of students.

Pros
High education level and prestige, wide range of courses, alot of students and different people to meet, top university not just in Scotland but in whole UK.

Cons
Lack of support from university staff, very difficult to get your application accepted, it has some very ugly buildings.
